Cocteau Twins’ Elizabeth Fraser Scores H.G. Wells Miniseries

“The Nightmare Worlds of H.G. Wells” is Fraser’s first substantial work since Cocteau Twins’ final album.
Cocteau Twins’ Elizabeth Fraser has performed, collaborated with other artists, and released solo singles sparingly in the past two decades; her last longform work was Cocteau Twins’ final 1996 album Milk & Kisses. As FACT points out, she’s now behind the score for a new four-episode miniseries, “The Nightmare Worlds of H.G. Wells.” It’s a collaboration with her husband Damon Reece. The series premieres January 28 on Sky Arts. It stars Michael Gambon, Rupert Graves, Ray Winstone, and others. Back in 2012, during her rare solo performance at Meltdown, she debuted new material.
