There’s two destination points purportedly on offer via this beloved Cocteau Twins record.

But really, you could go anywhere you want with the transportive sounds of Heaven or Las Vegas.

Stride through sunlit landscapes, float above the clouds, wander through desolate and darkly mystical terrain, somewhere barren, cold and industrial, or dive and tumble into deep blue waters.

Throughout their career, critics fell over themselves attempting to foist all manner of descriptors on this Scottish band, but words come up short.

There’s nothing else for it, except to feast your ears on their most celebrated work.
