“I just sort of fell into the world with Elizabeth because she was estranged from her parents as well, and we were just kinda two young kids, 19 and 17, you know, who were somewhat disaffected and not quite grown up enough to really know how to handle these things. So we just threw ourselves into doing our music and we kinda hoped one day we might make a record. That was it, you know. And get the hell out of Scotland and see something and do something.”
