Founding Cocteau Twin Robin Guthrie announced via social media on Christmas Eve yet another new record. The Springtime EP will debut on 4 January, 2022, which happens to be Guthrie’s 60th birthday. As with his other recent string of releases—Mockingbird Love, Pearldiving, and Riviera, as well as several singles—Springtime will be on Guthrie’s own Soleil Après Minuit label, and available for purchase on his Bandcamp page, some online retailers, and streaming services. ▣
