The official Cocteau Twins merchandise shop has debuted a limited-edition tee featuring the photography of Dr. Bohumil Kröhn, “Woman doing a one-handed cartwheel” and “Lily” (1937/38).
Fans will recognize these images from the original 1982 sleeve for the EP Lullabies, which was designed by the late Vaughan Oliver at 23 Envelope. The photographs are in the public domain.
“Woman doing a one-handed carwheel” subsequently became an unofficial insignia for the band, appearing on the 1991 Singles and EPs Box Set, Stars and Topsoil (2000), Lullabies to Violaine (2005), and the Vinyl Box Set (2010).
Also new to the shop is a limited-edition Head Over Heels tote.
Visit the merchandise shop for further details and to order. Quantities are limited.▣
